What can I expect?
The Centre aims to see everyone within 30 minutes.

Services provided at the Walk-in Centre include:

• Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Assessment by an experienced NHS Nurse Practitioner 
• Advice on how to stay healthy
• Information on out-of-hours GP and dental services
• Information on local pharmacy services
• Information on other local health services

Do I need to register?

No, you will not be required to register, although please be aware that our recepetion staff will need to take some general information from you upon your arrival at the Centre.

What services are provided?

Is the treatment free?

Yes. The service we offer is complete free and is designed to complement the service you already receive from your GP.

Where is the Centre located?

The Centre is located just off Broad Street on Morland Road in Dagenham.

Can I see a GP at the Centre?

No, the Walk-in Centre is a nurse-led service. However, all members of the public can register with the Broad Street Medical Centre conveniently located inside the same building. After registering you can arrange for an appointment to see a GP. 
 
Can I get repeat prescriptions at the Walk-in Centre?

No, unless in exceptional circumstances where a prescription will be given to cover you until you can see a registered GP.  
 
Will information about my visit be sent to my GP?

Yes, all consultation notes will be sent to your GP practice immediately after your visit.

When is the Centre open?

The Centre is open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays and on bank holidays.
